Terminal airspace dimensions and VHF sector frequencies for certain high density traffic airports in Canada are shown
Question 6.23 of TP 11919E, Department of Transport, Canada; reproduced with the Department's permission.
TC's answer
2on the VTA chart and in the CFS.
Explanation
TC AIM MAP 2.5.2: "To satisfy special operational requirements at certain high density traffic airports with complex airspace structures, VTA are available (1:250 000 scale)." VTA charts are made for Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa and Montréal and show that terminal airspace with its frequencies; RAC 5.8 tells VFR pilots to call ATC "on VFR advisory frequency (depicted on VTA charts)" before entering Class C airspace. MAP 2.5.3 says the CFS publishes VFR information "not suitable for depiction on visual aeronautical charts", and each CFS aerodrome entry lists the airport's communication frequencies.
Memory tip: Busy terminal = VTA chart + CFS.
